There’s something quite thrilling about finding a vintage bargain. I usually aren’t so victorious when it comes to rummaging through vintage shops, more often than not the only place I score gold is my Gran’s wardrobe. Unfortunately she lives in the other side of the ocean so even that, isn’t so regular.
Last week strolling through Camden we popped into Rokit. For those who aren’t from the UK, Rokit is a shop that sells vintage clothes and there’s quite a few scattered around London. My friend was after a pair of cut off levis shorts, and that is when I found this little gem of a shirt (I also found two more but I’m sure you’ll see those soon). Now, I’m positive it won’t be of everyone’s taste but I sort of like the worn off grandad print and colour of it. It’s nice and oversized so it looks great tucked into jeans but it also allows me to tie up the ends for a more fitted fit, which brings me to this post.
For this outfit I paired said shirt with a pair of mid-rise girlfriend style jeans and my sparkly silver shoes from asos. I then finished the look with a bandana around my ankle a la Leandra Medine (Man Repeller). I really enjoyed the contrast of colour and print of both the bandana and the shirt together and I hope you do too.
