I was going to publish a weekly review on Sunday/Monday but I decided against it. I’m attending Fashion Week so I wanted to do that in one whole post thing in terms of what I got upto/ how I manically survived (I will be doing outfit posts and show reviews and maybe some street style too). I got my schedule today of all the shows and presentations I’m attending. I shall be writing for Hope Von Joel’s blog an extremely talented fashion stylist and I’m soo excited, words cannot describe. It’s a really amazing opportunity as someone who loves to write about fashion to be given a chance like it and I’m really happy I got it.
So enough about chances and life and fashion week(I could go on about forever) for the last week and a half I say half when it’s more like week and 3/4, I’ve been in a rather manic mode, I’ve been super busy and that really annoying tube strike did not help at all. From Taylor Swift Concert (which then took over 2 hours to get back to my friend’s flat because of the strike), to Rentez-Vous event, to interview, to outfit planning, to uni (yes that happens too), to french lessons and to writing here. I’ve been very worn out. I also haven’t been feeling myself (this never happens to me) does anyone ever get those moments when they’re like so happy and then they’re like suddenly really sad/upset/stressed? I don’t know- thankfully I have some great people in my life who help me out when things get like this. *SHOUTOUT TO MY PALS – YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE*
So you will notice that many of these photographs are food, well what can I say I love food so much (ok like a lot but who doesn’t?). I saw Taylor Swift last Tuesday and omg she was amazing, proper the fangirl me. I’m also super jealous of her legs like where do I apply to get legs like hers? (why wasn’t I graced with long limbs? Why must I be about 5ft tall? – Many life questions are better left unanswered) As you know I also had my interview last week, which then resulted in me going to Portobello with my friend for brunch in this amazing place called Raouls. Saturday I learnt some French, then I made a quick pit spot in Selfridges to see possible outfit ideas. Sunday I spent with my family which was actually something I really needed and it made me feel extremely great. Starting Monday much consisted of shopping/seeing friends/uni and most importantly sorting out my schedule for LFW. And that’s my week and 3/4s. I shall be back with a massive LFW outfit post and I’ll try to update as much as possible but have a look at @HopeVonJoel on twitter and instagram where I’ll be for most of the week with a bunch of great girls!
